The best vintage of this chateau
This red wine from 1994 has deep aromas and an extremely powerful structure. The reason for this is the mixture of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon into a so-called Bordeaux blend. In addition to these two grape varieties are also admissible mixing partners Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Camenere, with the majority of Bordeaux blends is a two-part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Sauvignon leads to an excellent structure and brings a pleasant fruity nuance in the mixture, which completes the Merlot skillfully.
For this 1994 Barateau we would
recommend Roast leg of lamb with herb salad.
