Robert Parker raves about this wine with 90 points
Robert Parker is a renowned wine evaluator - his worldwide influence is undisputed. The American wine journalist is the founder of the well-known "Wine Advocate" and rated with a 100-point system, the wines tasted by him. Its evaluation scheme has had a lasting effect on the wine industry and is now being used internationally. But why does this red wine get 90 points? The reason for this was the excellent fruit and complexity of this wine, which is based on Syrah and Grenache. This Syrah-Grenache mix has typical aromas of stewed plums, black cherries, blueberries, black olives and a touch of dark chocolate. The Grenache serves in this constellation as a fruit supplier and contributes its classic bright strawberry and raspberry aromas and the juicy palate, while the Syrah contributes the necessary structure and flavor and rounds off the Grenache.
For this 2015 Grenache Syrah we would
Recommend Roast leg of lamb with herb salad, Cornish pasties, Moroccan tagine.
