Ruby red, fruity Pinot Noir
The Pinot Noir is found in many parts of the world, in the most important and best vineyards in the world and also in Germany. All these Spätburgunder and Pinot Noirs have a lot in common, but every Spätburgunder is a statement for itself. This Pinot Noir is characterized, like most others, by a bright, ruby red color. It smells of sweet black cherries, blackberries and hints of black pepper. However, this Spätburgunder only shows its strong character in the mouth when it develops its fruity core on the palate and disappears again with a fine finish.
For this 2014 Behringer we would
Strong (grilled) meats and mild hard cheese recommend.
